3 Class Action Suits reported in detail here -

In addition to consumer Class Action suits shortly you will see suits filed by banks and credit card firms to recover costs and damages for the efforts they have had to, and will continue to have, for canceling and reissuing new cards for customers and also for losses they will have in crediting back customers for those bogus charges made by scammers.

Target has now admitted, and all major media outlets, including NBC and CBS quote Target that 110,000,000 people are at risk and you did not even have to shop at Target!

Card information stolen may be from their data base and go back several years and not just from in store transactions.  Shortly scammers will be using this info to contact consumers by email and phone with requests for additional information to take further their efforts at identity theft, probably including obtaining government identification to include driver licenses and passports.

Update:  The total has risen to several dozens with more to come.  They all read about the same as the facts are not in dispute, so when you read one you have really read them all.

The Wredberg, Purcell and Kirk filings are below FYI:

Samantha Wredberg vs Target Corp, Case No. 13-cv-05901, (San Francisco, Ca) U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.

Lisa Purcell vs Target Corp, 3:13-cv-02274-JE, (Portland, Or.) U.S. District of Oregon
